There isn’t a Barolo, but hundreds if not thousand Barolos, each one different not only because made of grapes grown in different areas, but also different ageing. This is a big Barolo, a wine in which the ageing not only is long, 36 months instead of the required 24, but also because it uses new French barrels, this is a wine with a very complex nose in which the vanilla is followed by fruit and spices. In the mouth, the wine is smooth, warm and soft.
It is advisable to decant the wine before drinking it.
